Manchester City Advance to Champions League Final with Dominant Victory Over Real Madrid

City Secure Aggregated 5-1 Win in Semifinal Clash

De Bruyne, Foden, and Álvarez Strike in Etihad Stadium Triumph

Manchester City produced a stunning performance to overcome Real Madrid 4-0 in the second leg of their Champions League semifinal clash at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday, securing a 5-1 aggregate victory and a place in the final.

Kevin De Bruyne opened the scoring for City in the 23rd minute, firing a low shot past Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. Phil Foden doubled the lead in the 90th minute, finishing off a flowing team move. Álvarez added a third goal in stoppage time, while Foden completed the rout with another strike in the 91st minute.

City dominated the match from start to finish, controlling possession and creating numerous chances. De Bruyne's opener was a deserved reward for their attacking intent, and Foden's goal sealed the win in emphatic fashion.

Real Madrid, who had won the Champions League 14 times, were unable to respond to City's dominance. Karim Benzema scored a consolation goal for the visitors in the first leg, but they failed to find the net in Manchester and were outclassed by a superior City side.

City will now face Inter Milan in the Champions League final in Istanbul on June 10th. The English champions will be aiming to win the trophy for the second time in four years, while Inter will be looking to lift their first European Cup since 2010.
